Pre-Survival

Little Splashers

Ages: 4 months to beginning walkers

1x per week • 30 minutes

This is the beginning of your baby’s water experience! Infants 4 months to beginning walkers, along with a parent or caregiver, will be introduced to the aquatic environment – splashing, bonding, and making new friends. This program is the precursor to swim-float-survive, and gets your baby comfortable with our swim school, staff and of course, the water!

Survival

Infant & Toddler Survival

*MON - THURS MORNING AVAILABILITY NOW*
Ages: walking to 4 years

3x or 4x per week • 15 minutes each

This program focuses on gently introducing children to water with short repetitive lessons, building trust with the instructor and slowly teaching them to reactively roll onto their back and float, flip back on to their stomachs and swim to exit the water.

By breaking down such a big task into small pieces, retention is higher, and it has proven to be a very successful method ensuring your child learns to swim~float~swim in just a few weeks. While each child learns at an individual pace, most finish in about 6 weeks.

Youth Survival

*WAITLIST CURRENTLY CLOSED*
Ages: 4 years +

2x or 3x per week • 15 minutes each

Youth Survival teaches older non-swimming children aquatic survival, which is the core of all our swimming programs and not taught in a traditional swim school setting. We teach the swim-float-swim progression that is taught to our younger students.

Our older swimmers usually grasp the swim-float-swim concept very quickly. We then incorporate breath control and proper kicking into the lesson before moving them onto our stroke school.

Let's Adapt

Ages: all ages

3x per week • 15 minutes each

Let’s Adapt is for children who may need tailored instruction based on physical or emotional needs to learn the life-saving skills of swim-float-survive. Working with those who have special needs takes an instructor who understands that everyone learns differently and may need a different approach. Our instructors have been trained in traditional and non-traditional methods to ensure you or your child’s success and enjoyment in the water. We provide a secure, safe, reassuring, and inclusive environment for all of our students.

Post-Survival

Aqua Babies

Ages: 12 months to 2.5 years

1x per week • 30 minutes each

This parent-assisted class is for children who have completed the swim-float-survive program. We teach parents how to play in the water the correct way with their little swimmers. This class offers swimming instruction that promotes water safety and fun.

Fun Groups

Ages: 2.5 to 5 years

1x or 2x per week • 30 minutes each

After mastering the swim-float-survive program, children are now ready to have some fun in age and skill-appropriate group lessons. Our Fun Group lessons, which are no longer parent assisted, are essential for continuing the confidence and skill growth of your swimmers. Children use their newly developed independent swimming skills to discover how much fun water-related activities can be, while still learning new skills to add to their swimming repertoire.

Transition

Ages: 5 years and under

1x or 2x per week • 30 minutes each

Our Transition class serves as the bridge between Private Lessons and Stroke School. By this stage, children are on their way to learning swimming movement, floating, and breath control. Students begin to swim further distances for longer periods of time.

Maintenance Lessons

Ages: walking and up

1x or 2x per week • 15 minutes each

These private lessons are for on-going maintenance to continue building confidence for children who aren’t quite ready to move to groups. Refreshers are for children who have completed the survival program and want to refresh their skills before summer.
