Friendly, Expert Swim Instructors

Our swim school is home to highly trained swim instructors who are dedicated to teaching children the essentials of aquatic survival and then fostering a love for recreational swimming so that enjoying the water freely and safely is second nature.

Each instructor has over 240 hours of hands-on, in-water training as well as continuing instruction and mentoring by our senior staff.

We also believe that all children learn differently so it is our goal to educate our instructors in child development and behavior.

Rest assured, our instructors are professionals, capable of providing quality swimming instruction to your children.

OUR  MISSION

Preventing Drowning & Saving Lives, One Child at a Time

)ur focus is safety first followed by a love for all things water. That is why we are strongly committed to teaching children how to swim properly. We believe that we help save lives, one child at a time, by teaching them to swim ~ float ~ survive!

Drowning is the Leading Cause of Death for Children Under 4

Despite being a leading cause of death, many parents are ignorant of how dangerous water areas are for young children.

Improper Technique

Unlike many of the popular swim programs that teach the Pop-Up Breathing method (children lift head, get a breath, struggle to float), our program emphasizes the Rollback-To-Float method so that children can roll onto their back, float as they catch their breath, and paddle to safety.

SwimKids is an absolutely unique swimming school that teaches pretty much all ages to swim and survive in the water.

Nadyne’s success results are 100%. She taught both my kids, and they are now two amazing little swimmers. Highly recommend this place to anyone who cares about their kids’ safety and essential skill of swimming.

Jodi Beard

Lead Infant/Toddler Survival-Swim Instructor

Jodi's Bio

My name is Jodi and all of my life I have loved being in or around water. My family loved spending time at the beach, or in our neighbor’s pool. I cannot recall a point in my life when I did not know how to swim and that has created a passion in me to help others obtain the same comfort and love that I have for the water!

My goal is to not only teach your child how to survive if they were to find themselves in an unfortunate situation in the water, but also to teach them the skills to increase their abilities and confidence as a swimmer.

I have spent over 800 hours of intensive hands on training with a lead instructor and completed academic study in the areas of child development, behavioral psychology, anatomy and physiology, and water safety guidelines. I currently hold certifications in Infant Aquatics and CPR, First Aid. I am proud to be an Infant Aquatic Survival
Specialist and I want to be a part of helping your family learn these lifelong skills to safely enjoy being in and around the water.
