Did you know that drowning is the #1 cause of unintentional death in children under 5?
Here at SwimKids of Georgia, it is our goal to prevent childhood drowning.
Come and join us for the Childhood Drowning Prevention Forum on March 2nd, from 12pm-3pm! It will be held at the Cumming Recreation & Parks Department Conference Center. The day’s events include talks from local pediatricians and special guests, as well as activities for children.
We are honored to have Georgia State Senator Greg Dolezal give the opening address for the event.
As a father of four children, Senator Dolezal strongly believes in preventing childhood drowning. We are so pleased that he will be joining us at the Childhood Drowning Prevention Forum.
Our speaker panel of experts also includes:
- Nicole Hughes, Founder of Water Guardians: Levi’s Legacy
Dr. Diedre Clemetson Rowe, Pediatric Hospitalist
Corporal Drew E. Long, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office

Learn about the benefits of survival swimming for infants and children alike. Activities for the day include: food trucks, kids activities, and a number of giveaways! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of learning and fun!
